Misty obtained her Master of Science in Counseling from Minnesota State University Moorhead and has over 15 years of experience as a counselor and has extensive training and education in Vocational Rehabilitation, including Psychiatric Vocational Rehabilitation. Misty provides diagnostic assessments and therapy services to all ages. She enjoys working with children and adolescents, adults, families, and individuals with disabilities. Misty utilizes evidenced-based approaches in her therapy practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Exposure and Response Prevention, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. She finds it meaningful to assist her clients in their journey of human growth and development. Misty values authenticity, respect, and humor. Misty is currently accepting patients of all ages.
